League leaders, Moor, unbeaten to Christmas.

Anxious to make up for last week’s blank afternoon, Moor ran riot against league strugglers Blackpool. To their credit, the visitors never gave up, particularly in the set pieces, but could not cope with Moor’s fast and powerful back line once they had possession.

Moor crossed the try line 17 times, Martin Shelley kicking 13 conversions, whilst Blackpool were restricted to a well-taken penalty in the fifth minute. Three players bagged hat-tricks; hooker Kieran McColl, winger Ivan Smetana and captain James McIntosh. The remainder were shared by Keith Young, Petr Stourac, Ben Lake, Felipe Silva, Nick Smith, Martin Shelley, Jamie Haynes and Ben Tumata.

Moor now take a well-earned rest from league action over the festive season with the resumption on January 5th.
