We are extremely proud of the Club and playing facilities of the Heatons. Groundsman, Nick James is hoping for a number of volunteers from all sections to help with some gardening work around the peripheries of the grounds.
Chairman, Rob Arnison has asked me to circulate the following plea from Groundsman, Nick James – re work around the ground - any one able to help please email Rob on

Nick says :
“The areas in question are the border backing onto the houses in Ryedale crescent adjacent to the car park, the border running along the first team lax pitch and the mound of topsoil near the nets.
These require clearing of weeds etc & generally tidying; I estimate it would take 10-12 willing workers most of a Sunday morning to clear.
It would be helpful if people could bring forks, spades, hoes & additional wheelbarrows if possible
We could also do with volunteers to attend regularly to keep the surrounds under control once cleared.” |
